MINI CAMP

Need a mini introduction to Michawana summer camp?  We do it just right for younger campers.  A special weekend will give you a chance to see, hear, touch, and do just enough to get a taste of camp to bring you back.  Slip and slide, messy games, swimming and fishing are just a few of the activities.  Counselors pour on extra attention and loving care to help younger campers feel secure, have a new adventure, and encounter Jesus, just like campers at Michawana have experienced for 70 years.  Take home a theme T-shirt and non-stop talk for your family. Cabin pictures are sent later.

Mini Camp is aimed at campers between 7 and 10 years of age who are ready for their first extended stay away from home. We pack the excitement of a Michawana week into three fun-filled days where campers get their first taste of all that sleepaway camp has to offer!

The Mini Camp program

is designed as a highly structured experience with a strong camper-to-staff ratio (less than 4:1). Children move through all scheduled activities with the same cabin group and leaders, ensuring that there are always familiar faces nearby.

At Mini Camp, children are introduced to the tradition of Michawana and experience corporate worship and Bible Hour with other campers their age
